Please note: 2024/25 EA Annual Registrations will expire on 31 March 2025 regardless of purchase date and there is no pro rata charge. You might find British Canoeing ‘on the water’ membership is a better alternative – this covers persons/s and not the craft a whole year from purchase date (find out more).
Refunds – As an agent to process registrations applications on behalf of the EA, we are bound by their terms. Click here to read the EA terms and guidance regarding refunds for annual boat registrations. You can find out if you qualify and, if so, what you need to do.
Powered or Business boat? We cannot process these registration types. Please contact the Environment Agency Boat Registration Team (03708 506 506 or boatreg@environment-agency.gov.uk
- All orders receive email confirmation that can be presented as proof of registration to a River Inspector.
- All orders receive automated emailed confirmation of submitted application and payment to present as proof of registration to a River Inspector.
- Please allow up to 10 working days for postal receipt of maps or discs (only issued for monthly or annual).
- You will need to pay any additional amount, which may be due, if it is found that the boat has been registered incorrectly based on the information you have provided.
- Applying for multiple craft registrations? You must be acting in accordance with the specific authorisation of the craft owner/s to process application on their behalf. You need to know craft type and are limited to a maximum of 5 per order.
