Boxted portage information – Boxted Bridge remains fully closed to all vehicles and pedestrians as well as the navigation underneath. Signage and navigation closure booms are in place due to concerns of possible bridge collapse.
RST was granted permission by both the Environment Agency and the landowner to install a temporary portage using use the agreed alternative portage route for S2C in lieu of the more permanent version being ready in time.
